We are celebrating our 26 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!
Back in 1989 I started BMI Mercedes Service with one employee and a handful of customers. A decade and a half later, it has grown to six employees and over 500 customers. But what I’m most proud of is that we still have a family atmosphere here and personalized one-on-one service.
Our growth has been based on one simple premise: provide top quality service at a fair price. It has always been my goal to deliver the best quality service by following a few basic guidelines. First of all, our technicians are factory-trained by Mercedes-Benz and/or certified by the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). This assures you that only experienced, highly-skilled technicians work on your car. Next, all vehicles scheduled for a maintenance service go through a comprehensive 25-point inspection. This assures you that not only is your car properly maintained, but any other problems or necessary repairs are discovered before they become worse problems.
I also strive to keep our prices competitive by periodically auditing the Mercedes service marketplace for price ranges. You won’t find us competing with the “quicky” oil change companies because to do so would not allow us to maintain our high standard of quality. But our prices will always reflect an honest and fair value to our customers.

Meet the BMI Team
Greg Rogers, Owner
Greg has been working in the automotive industry for 38 years. He was Service Manager at another independent Mercedes-Benz service center prior to starting BMI Mercedes Service in 1989. He has been working specifically on Mercedes-Benz autos since 1984. He has two teenage sons (with his wife Sherri) who play and compete in basketball. He enjoys bluegrass music and plays several instruments: guitar, mandolin, and fiddle. He looks forward to helping you with your Mercedes needs.
Steve Travis, Certified Technician
Steve Travis is ASE- certified and currently has 20+ years of experience working on Mercedes-Benz. He has been employed with BMI for 18 of those years.Steve calls himself a NASA brat, moving around growing up – but he calls Georgia his home now.He loves to travel with his wife and also to spend time on his boat.
Steve Eletr, Master Technician
Steve Eletr has an impressive 32 year history as a Mercedes-Benz technician. His vast technical knowledge and lengthy experience come in handy in older model Mercedes. He also has achieved the top level ASE certification of Master Technician, which demonstrates his ability to uphold the standard of quality we require here at BMI.
Debbie Belzer, Office Manager
Debbie has been with BMI for over 3 years and is retired from a 32 year career in education. She went back to school and graduated from an administrative and payroll certification program and is honing those skills here at BMI. We are glad she has bought those fine skills to us and our customers.
Our Three P’s Promise to You
We promise to respond to your service or repair need within a reasonable amount of time. This is usually within a day or two and sometimes even the same day you call. We won’t keep you waiting for weeks like some dealers do.
We promise to treat you like one of the family. We will respect you as a valued customer and will treat your car as a valued possession. We’ll call you by name, spend time explaining repairs, and chat about the kids.
